Kamaitachi - The Force of Wind

Finally...

The trip to Bali pays off, not only I manage to get a great experience on Chinese New Year (I Got visiting some temples and pray at the temples, but also GREAT Balinese Food Stuffs), but I finally made the tattoo as well.

The temples and the food is in Singaraja (me wive's home town), but the tattoo was made in Kuta, Denpasar :D

Kamaitachi, The Sickle Weasel

It's been a while since me talk about me tattoo... and as I was planning, the sequence of me tattoo is that it started with fire, and then water, and then the air/wind, and ended up on earth tattoo...

Now, me wife and me has search for some tattoo design for our won, me wife ended up to choose the tattoo that's going to be our cafe's name (please pray so that our cafe would really coming through)... and the motive is gonna be a shillouette of a cat.. :D *cute*... :D

Aaaaanddd.. for me tattoo, me gonna make me third tattoo, the air tatto, as a mythical creature, and me think, the best choice is a Kamaitachi, [A trio of weasels with sharp claws, riding on a gust of wind and cutting people's skin on the legs. According to this interpretation, the first weasel knocked the unsuspecting victim down, the second cut the victim's flesh and the third applied medication to the wounds, so that at the time the victim realised what was happening they were left only with painful wounds that weren't bleeding.] --> That was Wikipedia says about Kamaitachi. Me like the idea since it depicted that the wind is free, malicious, yet cute and restrained.. :)

Surging Wave of Water

Finally.. after soooo long wait..

Me second tattoo has been made,.. and it marks the second phase of me life...

Water... the sustenance of life.... the flow that brings power, the flow that heal, the flow that mightily crush you with its wave...

The power, the healer, the buffer that brings balance...

Surging wave of water.... reside by me right leg....

Ambrigram

Ambigram (n.): also sometimes known as an inversion, is a graphical figure that spells out a word not only in its form as presented, but also in another direction or orientation. The text can also consist of a few words, and the the text spelled out in the other direction or orientation is often the same, but can also be a different text.

In definition, that's how you say an ambigram is, me found this ambigram while reading Dan Brown's Angels And Demons. And guess what? the ambigram displayed at the book was exactly the four elements:

Fire

Water

Air

Earth

and since it represents all the four tattoos that me wanted so much, they're also going to be the part me me tattoos... :)

Wispy Turbulence

Well, long time no see...

Finally, me found meself another tatto design, me love it so much, that me believe that it will represent the air element out of the four elements me needed to tattoo me body

It was well, you can read it well though, taken from the dragon design of Eragon's logo, but imagine if the dragon's head was eliminated, changed into some blunt shape, and then we flip the image horizontally and vertically, voila...

Surging Wave of Water after a Fiery Fire

Aaaaaaah... after fiery fire tattoo that really makes me like it sooo much, me started to think to make a new tattoo

Me concept was just simply a surging wave of water, me take the design from a famous Japanese painting artist named (If I'm not mistaken: Hokusai), the original picture was mountain Fuji viewed from afar... while the storm was building...

Me want to place it on me leg, me right leg, note: LEG!! NOT thigh,

Me got one design, but only the frame that makes me wonder... guys.. please help me decice which one do you think will be better on me leg

Old and New

Finally,

Me made some improvement of my -bodily markings- that is inked into my skin... well, for short, me made a new tattoo

See the difference?

Me say that me old ones looks like a candle flame,



but this new one now, it looks like a blazing fire,



Anyway, it was in the same arm, see the difference of the size? :)
